Connection free remote computing is finally here!  The Remote Users System is a powerful option that can be added to the network version of The Bottom Line Service System, allowing you to expand your network beyond the confines of your office, without being tethered to the network by cabling or phone connections.  It does not require special hardware . . . just a laptop or a computer for your Remote Users.  This is how it works:

The office network personnel takes calls and schedules work orders, dispatching the work orders to Remote Users.  When they are ready to transfer a batch of work orders to each Remote User, they run a program that creates all the necessary data files for each Remote User, containing work orders, invoices, quotes, purchase orders, customers, etc.  These files are placed in separate specific directories for each Remote User.  Each Remote User only receives the work orders to which he or she has been assigned.

When the Remote User is ready to receive these files, he or she can either (a) physically dock with the network computer or (b) receive the files via E-Mail.  The Remote User doesn’t even have to be at the office!

When the office network receives completed invoices back from the Remote Users, it is posted into the Bottom Line Service System on the network, blending all the information together with the data files on the network just like they were keyed in on the office computer.
